The son of Dancehall artiste Mavado was shot in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew, head of the Constabulary Communication Unit, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay confirms.
According to Lindsay the incident took place late last month and the Gully Gad’s teenage son is still in the hospital undergoing treatment.
An investigation into the shooting has since been launched by the St. Andrew North police.

Mavado, real name David Constantine Brooks has been tight-lipped on the situation but changed his profile photo on Instagram.
Gully fans have since took to his social media accounts to send their prayers for the ‘Big League’ singjay’s son and his family.
