Mavado’s Son At Home Recovering From Stab Wounds

Dancehall artiste Mavado’s teenage son Dantay Brooks has been released from the hospital and is now home recuperating after being stabbed in a robbery attempt in Half Way Tree, Kingston, Jamaica over the weekend.

Dantay was reportedly stabbed in the neck during a robbery attempt at the popular Limelight entertainment spot along Half-Way Tree. Police say Brooks was attacked by eight armed thugs who attempted to rob him of his cellular phone.

Since news broke over the weekend, The ‘Gully Gad’ is yet to comment publicly on the incident.
