Mavado’s new album could be sooner than we think.

The international recording artiste uploaded a snippet from his upcoming project over the weekend and told Dancehall fans that “big work [is] coming soon.”

Mavado has been hitting the studio over the last few months as he gets ready to release his album due later this year. While it remains unclear who will be featured on the Gully Gad’s forthcoming project, Mavado linked up with rappers Cardi B and Tory Lanez last month.

Mavado is currently enjoying success with his latest collaboration titled “Holy Mountain.” The track is taken off DJ Khaled’s new “Father of Asahd” album also features American singer/rapper 070 Shake.

Holy Mountain debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae Digital Song Sales last month. The song samples late Reggae artiste Billy Boyo’s 1981 smash hit “One Spliff A Day.”

Holy Mountain official music video has already amassed 10 million views since its release on May 17. The visuals were shot on location in Jamaica and Miami, Florida. Eif Rivera, DJ Khaled and Ivan Berrios were credited as the directors of the music video. Producer, Omar Reynoso and production company is ERG Designs.
