Marlon Samuels Moves On From Drama With Yanique Curvy Diva

Marlon Samuels is finally moving on from the ongoing drama with Yanique Curvy Diva.

The two former lovers have been taking jabs at each other on social media since the start of the month however the Jamaican cricketer has seemingly ended the rivalry.

On Thursday, Samuels uploaded a throwback photo showing on of his many charitable contributions, “When they go low, we go high,” he wrote.

“Sports Superstar Marlon Samuels of the West Indies has donated J$1.5 million to the Jamaica Society for the Blind through his Marlon Samuels Foundation. The donation will help the organization promote the education, employment and welfare of blind or visually impaired people in Jamaica. Lola Marson, the executive director of the Society, received the donated funds at a press conference in Kingston. Samuels also presented J$350,000 to Garfield Mitchell, 22, a visually impaired student at Church Teacher’s College, in recognition of his passing seven Caribbean Examinations Council subjects. Mitchell plans to become a teacher but had difficulty paying his tuition.,” he added.

Meanwhile, Samuels and the “Lifestyle” singer could still be heading to court after they both promised to take legal action against each other.

Yanique Curvy Diva Drops Marlon Samuels Diss Track “Carry Feelings”

In an official statement and cease and desist notice released on Monday, the right-handed middle order batsman wrote;

“It has been brought to my attention that there are allegations in social media circles, that a female television personality who goes by the moniker Yanique Curvy Diva has made several derogatory posts on social media about me. I am therefore informing the public that I refute the allegations made by Miss Yanique Barrett and I intend to take the necessary steps legally to defend my reputation in due course.

In my capacity as a sports ambassador, my job is to continue serving the people of Jamaica, the West Indies and by extension the cricketing world, and in addition the blind community by way of the Marlon Samuels Foundation for the Blind. In the circumstances, I am therefore requesting that the mentioned media personality and those associated directly or indirectly to her immediately cease and desist from embroiling my name in any controversy, (expressly or implied) surrounding this person. Failure to observe this request will result in legal action for an injunction against you to restrain you from further slandering and defaming my name and reputation.”
