Markus Myrie is moving on after his recent fallout with father Buju Banton.
Over the weekend, the Dancehall producer and recording artiste previewed an upcoming single with his mother. “Work all night then wul a Morning vibes wid mi biggest fan/mommy new single from yours truly ,soon fwd!! Produced written engineered and sang by ME #MarkusRecords #GREAT ????,” Markus captioned the post.
Markus Myrie blasted Buju Banton during a shocking Instagram story rant earlier this month. The Markus Records CEO subsequently filed a police report against him at the Constant Spring police regarding an altercation at Gargamel Music Studios in St Andrew.
Sources close to the Myrie family says the two have not spoken since the incident. The source said Markus made the situation worst when he released another statement seemingly apologising however he labeled the Reggae icon as a bad father.
Meanwhile, Buju Banton has remained silent on the issue and has made the decision not to address as he tries to keep his family business outside of the public space. The Grammy-winning entertainer will be performing in The Bahamas next as his Long Walk To Freedom tour continues.
