A man was shot dead by unknown assailants in Falmouth early Thursday morning.
The dead man has been identified as 24-year-old Comair Elliot, an unemployed resident of Falmouth.
According to reports the police were summoned after loud explosions were heard along a section of Peel Street in Falmouth early Thursday morning.
Investigators say Elliot’s body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds lying in a pool of blood at 14 Peel Street.
No motive has yet been been established for the killing.
