A St James man was shot dead by unknown assailants while driving home from a nightclub in the parish early Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Richard Williams, of a Irwin, St James address.
According to police reports Williams was gunned down after leaving a nightclub in the parish at approximately 4:00 am.
He was reportedly driving his silver Toyota Mark X motorcar along the Bogue main road, when his attackers peppered the vehicle with bullets.
The victim reportedly lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a gate, he was later pronounced dead.
Police are yet to theorize a motive for the killing.
