Magnum Dream Live Thrills Thousands in Negril

Magnum Tonic Wine and Dream Entertainment’s Magnum Dream Live concert, the kick-off event for the Dream Weekend party season delivered a first-rate live music experience for the thousands in attendance.

In front of a global audience of attendees, which included international supermodel from Canada Winnie Harlow, some of dancehall’s finest including Aidonia, Bounty Killer, Tommy Lee, and Masicka, gave concertgoers a show to remember.

The man of the moment Aidonia, showcased the reason for his current grapple over the summer with a show-stealing and interactive performance running through his catalogue of over 10 years strong.Yea Yea Yea, his current lead single demanded encore after encore, and included Aidonia going into the crowd to toast directly to his fans. Work It, Banger, and a slew of songs targeting his ever-growing female fans solidified that Magnum Dream Live 2017 was Aidonia’s night.

Aidonia was given a great foundation to build upon, as his earlier mentor Bounty Killer called him on stage to pandemonium from fans. Bounty Killer reiterated his legendary status in the genre with a slew of classics peppered with social commentary interludes.

Other commendable performances came from Tarrus Riley, who had the ladies in the crowd harmonising his every word, and hardcore sets by Tommy Lee Sparta and Masicka.

Tamika West, Marketing Manager of J. Wray and Nephew Limited, manufacturers and distributors of Magnum Tonic Wine, was elated at another great staging of Magnum Dream Live:

“Magnum Dream Live continues to be a world-class live music platform in Jamaica for dancehall acts to be exposed to an international audience.”

She continued: “We believe in continuing the development of dancehall as the culture’s official drink, and are glad that Dream Entertainment continues to collaborate with us to crate productions of this magnitude.”
