Dancehall artiste Macka Diamond speaks on Food Kartel’s death.
The “Dye Dye” deejay had some kind words to say in memory of the comedic dancehall artiste who passed away on Wednesday night after suffering a stroke a few days prior to his death. Macka said that Food Kartel was a great performer and an encouraging individual and she will always remember him as man who loved music. She also added that he was always happy despite what was going on in his life and described his passing as a tragedy given that he was so young and talented.
Food Kartel is survived by nine children and will be remembered for his classics which include “Kitchen Hero,” and “Cook It Inna.”
