Soca star Machel Montano attended the 2016 LA Film Festival over the weekend.
Montano who also ventured into acting recently, thanked Trinidad & Tobago’s Abigail Hadeed for inviting him to view the premiere of “Play The Devil.”
“Happy to see T&T on the big screen and done so well,” He said.
Machel also made another post hinting that his Bazodee movie will be hitting the big screen soon, “Everyday in drawn more and more into film. It’s really a pleasure to see T&T on screen and appreciated by so many . #lafilmfestival2016 . I’m so happy@bazodeethemovie will be making its way soon ! 📽 Congrats to the cast , director and producer of Play the Devil,” He captioned the post.
Bazodee is a musical drama about a rugged soca singer (Lee, played by Montano) who falls for a beautiful young Indian woman (Anita, played by Natalie Perera, a London-born newcomer of Sri Lankan parentage), who happens to be engaged to a man she doesn’t love.
