Lil Wayne says he’s never heard Of Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage or Kodak Black

Lil Wayne is apparently unaware or maybe just unimpressed with the next generation of Hip Hop stars.

Whether it was just cold honesty or just being brutally savage, Lil Wayne recently told The New York Times that he didn’t know many of the up and coming talents in Hip Hop industry.

When asked what he thought about young rappers such as Lil Uzi Vert, Kodak Black, Lil Yachty and 21 Savage, Weezy surprisingly declared he was unaware of who they are. The rapper told writer Joe Coscarelli that “I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s names just now, so that should probably answer that question. I just do my own thing.”

The 34-year-old rapper’s answer may seem a little surprising, especially since three of the mentioned artiste all performed at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards where Weezy also performed.
