Rapper Lil Wayne has partnered with Southern California skate company OC Ramps to donate a skate park to the kids of his hometown, New Orleans, according to AllHipHop.

The “A Milli” rapper decided to gift the kids of New Orleans the skate park after hosting a pop-up skate park in conjunction with OC Ramps. The rapper was reportedly moved by the support of the event and decided to let the ramps remain.

The ramps from the pop up skate park were supposed to be broken down and shipped to California, but Weezy reportedly decided to keep them in New Orleans for the kids.

According to a spokesperson for OC Ramps, the gift was the least they could do for the state that was ravaged floods in recent history.

“We love skateboarding and we love the city of New Orleans. We have nothing but love for the skaters out there and hope they continue to enjoy the skate obstacles as long as possible.”
