A gunman was foiled in his attempt to rob a civilian in Constant Spring on Thursday after his target turned out to be a licensed firearm holder.
According to police reports, the gunman held up the civilian following a business transaction in the Manor Park Plaza area.
The culprit reportedly grabbed the civilian’s bag and attempted to make his escape, but was surprised by the victim, who turned out to be a licensed firearm holder.
Gunfire was reported exchanged, and the gunman would retreat from the scene leaving the civilian’s bag of cash.
