Reggae Boyz star and winger for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, Leon Bailey says being a father is “God‘s Greatest Gift”.
Bailey shared an adorable photo with his baby boy, Leo Cristiano on Saturday and a heartfelt caption.
“God‘s Greatest Gift, being a dad is the most rewarding feeling ever. I promise to always keep that smile on your face. Happy five months son, I love you! 🤗❤️,” he wrote.
He also announced that an Instagram account has been created for Leo Cristiano, @babyleo_b.
Bailey and longtime girlfriend Stephanie Hope welcomed their first child together on June 14.
Leverkusen confirmed the birth of Bailey’s son on social media. When asked on Twitter if he was injured, the club responded: “Nope, he became a father this morning”. In a subsequent tweet, they confirmed that the baby was a boy.
