Lee Scratch Perry says Bob Marley’s cocaine addiction killed the legendary singer

Jamaican music producer/Inventor Lee Scratch Perry is making some hefty claims relating to the late ‘King Of Reggae’ Bob Marley.

Speaking candidly with BOJ TV’s Kern Spencer recently backstage at a concert, Perry claims that Marley’s death was due to his addiction to cocaine.

When asked about his relationship with Marley, Perry said it was real however things went ugly when something went wrong in Bob’s brain. “It’s real, it’s something real but something go wrong in Bob computer (Brain),” he said. “I did not want to be Bob, Bob wanted to be me.”

Perry said Bob had a problem and that’s why he’s not here today stating that the “Redemption Song” singer wanted to be God however God doesn’t do cocaine.

“Bob Marley wanted to be God but God don’t take cocaine,” he said. When asked to confirm he statement about Bob snorting, Perry added, “If he didn’t take cocaine he wouldn’t had lost his immortality.”
