The LAPD have confirmed that criminal investigations have been opened against New York Knicks basketball payer Derrick Rose over rape allegations.
A $21.5 million civil lawsuit was filed against Derrick Rose and two friends by a former girlfriend that claimed that they raped her while she was unconscious back in 2013. Rose denied the claims saying that the act was consensual.
Things have however become a little more serious for Rose as the LAPD have signaled that they have opened criminal investigations into the allegations. The announcement was made after detectives wrote a letter to the alleged victim addressing misconceptions.
