Konshens Eyes International Market After Signing New Record Deal

Konshens has signed a record deal with major United States based label Empire Records.

The Dancehall superstar recently revealed that he has signed a recording deal with Empire Records, a California based label, which he believes will help to expand his brand on the international market.

According to the deejay, the deal is already bearing significant results, as the recent remix to his hit single “Bruck Off Yuh Back,” which features Chris Brown, was facilitated by his new label.

The Jamaican is hoping to make a major push on the international scene this year, especially with a noted resurgence of Dancehall music on the international scene in the last couple of years.

However, despite signing a major deal the Jamaican superstar says he has no intentions to relax or change his work ethic, as he does not expect the label to do everything for him, and he will continue to work just like was an independent artist.

The deejay also revealed plans to film a music video for his collaboration with Chris Brown, which he says will be shot as soon as both their schedules facilitate it, as the single still has massive potential on the international scene.
