Dancehall artiste Konshens has donated $1000 usd towards a GoFundMe account set up for a member of the popular Jamaican sound system Chromatic, who is currently battling kidney disease.
News broke on Wednesday that founding member of Chromatic sound, Nicholas “Niko” Grant, has been silently battling kidney disease for some time now, and now requires emergency surgery.

According to the GoFundMe account set up, the target for the popular MC’s medical bills are $50,000 usd.
The account has already raised $2455 usd, with donations from fans and several members of the Dancehall fraternity including Dancehall artiste Konshens.
The Subkonshus boss, whose real name is Garfield, made a significant donation of $1000 usd to the fund. While other members of the entertainment industry also made donations including distributing pioneer Johnny Wonder, fashion designer Romeich, and Chromatic’s own ‘Heavy D’.
