Koffee wasn’t joking when she said she was coming in like a rapture!

The 19-year-old Reggae sensation recently sat down with Fox 5 New York’s general assignment reporter Lisa Evers for an exclusive interview.

Evers shared a photo with the “Toast” hit maker via Instagram last week and revealed that it will be featured in Fox 5 NY’s upcoming Reggae and Dancehall special due later this month.

So great interviewing this amazing emerging Reggae artist Koffee today for our upcoming Fox 5 New York’s Dancehall and Reggae special,” Evers wrote. “She told me that music is a mission for her to uplift people, especially other teens. Refreshing to see an artist concerned about others & such a positive role model for our girls & young women.”

Koffee recently made her TV debut in the United States when she appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Koffee, real name Mikayla Simpson, has been enjoying a number of successes since the release of her five-track EP “Rapture.”

The project comprises of 5 powerful tracks including three previously released: ‘Toast’, ‘Throne’ and ‘Raggamuffin’. It features two new songs ‘Blazin’ featuring the ‘poetic author of Jamaican music’, Jane MacGizmo and EP-Titled, ‘Rapture’.

Koffee’s Rapture has sold close to 1000 copies since its release. Her smash hit ‘Toast’ is featured in Jordan Peele’s new horror film Us.
