Koffee says her highly anticipated Rihanna collaboration is currently in the works.

While the Grammy-nominated Reggae star remains tight-lipped on the upcoming project, Koffee told i-D Vice Magazine last month that she has been in contact with the Bajan pop star.

“We’ve been playing around with some stuff. I think something is coming in the near future, but for now, I can’t confirm it,” she told the publication.

Koffee is among the five acts nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2020 Grammys.

The 19-year-old, real name Mikayla Simpson, created history becoming the youngest solo Reggae artiste to be nominated in the category.

Koffee’s ‘Rapture’ is up against Mass Manipulation by Steel Pulse, As I Am by Julian Marley, The Final Battle: Sly & Robbie vs Roots Radics by Sly and Robbie and Roots Radics and More Work to be Done by Third World.

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for January 26, 2020, at Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from October 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019.
