Koffee Has The No.1 Song In Jamaica With W Featuring Gunna

Grammy-nominated Reggae star Koffee is ending the year strong with her new track and video “W” ft. Gunna.

The banger is currently the number one trending video on YouTube in Jamaica. Released on November 26, W already has 1.4 million views and counting.

Koffee is among the five acts nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 2020 Grammys. The 19-year-old, real name Mikayla Simpson, created history earlier this month becoming the youngest solo Reggae artiste to be nominated in the category.

The Reggae sensation first burst into the spotlight in November last year with her break out single “Toast.” The undeniable hit of the summer garnered over 67 million audio streams and well over 87 million views on YouTube. Since then the 19-year-old Spanish Town native has earned herself a global fanbase. Chosen as one of BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Hot for 2019′ artists as one to watch, she was also Apple Music’s ‘Up Next.’ Universally praised from media and fans alike, her COLORS session is still the third most viewed of 2019 sitting at 5.3 Million views.
