Kodak Black Facing Up To 8 Years Following Guilty Verdict

Rapper Kodak Black is facing up to 8 years in prison following a guilty verdict for parole violations on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old Florida rapper’s promising career could be in serious trouble yet again after a judge ruled that he had violated parole conditions by visiting a Miami-Dade strip club, a boxing match in Ohio and other unauthorized rendezvous.

The “Tunnel Vision” rapper will be sentenced on May 4, and prosecutors are pushing for a maximum sentence of 8 years while his defense team argue that he should be released.

Kodak’s probation stems from his 2016 trial for armed robbery and false imprisonment charges. He was sentenced to one year’s house arrest and given five years probation, community service and anger management classes.
