Comedian Katt Williams is facing possible jail time after he was officially charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly punching a woman, according to TMZ.
The controversial actor reportedly attacked a restaurant worker at the Sportsmen’s Lodge restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California for allegedly “disrespecting” him. The woman was left with visible injuries, after she was reportedly punched in the face.
Williams faces up to six months in jail if convicted for the attack.
This incident is only the latest in a long list of legal problems for the comedian, as he has been arrested several times this year.
