Kasi Bennett took some time off her birthday celebrations on Tuesday, July 7 to blast trolls finding issue with Usain Bolt calling her his girlfriend.
The sprinting legend wrote a heartfelt message to Bennett on social media while revealing the first photos of their daughter, Olympia Lightning Bolt.
“I want to wish my gf @kasi.b a happy birthday and To let u know I am happy I get to spend ur special day with u,” Bolt wrote. “I want nothing but happiness for u and will continue to doing my best keeping a smile on ur face. Now we have started a new chapter together with our daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt I look forward to what the future will bring for us but be reassured that I will be the ROCK for this family. I Love you and happy 21th birthday 😂😂😂.”
However it seems many took an issue with Bolt calling his longtime partner his gf (Girlfriend) and started a discussion on Twitter.
One social media user stated that a man shouldn’t call her girlfriend after pushing out his child, “I am your woman,” she stated.
Another user looked to spark a debate shared the comment and wrote, “Discussion, what you think?” – to which Kasi responded and told her to mind her business.
“I think you should mind your business. What you think?,” Bennett questioned.
