The Tropixs (Kingston, Jamaica) – Kanye West and his Sunday Church service group is heading to Jamaica this week.
The American rapper/fashion designer will be hosting a free event at Emancipation Park in Kingston this Friday. Dubbed “A Gift To Jamaicans,” Kanye will be accompanied by the 120-Voice Choir Sunday Service and a 15-member band.
The concert is slated to start at 7:00 p.m. and will mark the Sunday Service’s first appearance in the Caribbean.
“Kanye is going around the world, and one of his workers is from Jamaica and she told him that Jamaicans would like something like this. We were given the red carpet by the Minster of Entertainment and Culture, and she moved heaven and earth to make this happen,” said Jonathan Coleman, producer of the event.
