Joe Bogdanovich Calms Concerns Over Alkaline Sumfest Performance

Joseph Bogdanovich has assured Reggae Sumfest patrons that the festival will be incident free following concerns over the performance of Dancehall superstar Alkaline.

The Reggae Sumfest and Downsound Records CEO has moved to quell fears that the scheduled performance of headline act Alkaline could become a security risk for patrons.

Many fans had expressed security concerns due to recent incidents which transpired at a few of the “Formula” deejay’s most recent concerts, which were plagued by stampedes and even cancellation due to overzealous fans.

According to Bogdanovich, Sumfest fans can be reassured of their safety, as the long running festival boast a impeccable security record which is second to none in Jamaica.

He emphasized that the safety of all Sumfest patrons will be of paramount importance, and that they can expect a satisfying and incident free staging.

Reggae Sumfest will be Alkaline’s third major performance in Jamaica in over two years.

The festival is scheduled to run from July 16-23 at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay.
