Actress Jennifer Hudson is set to star in Adam Sandler’s next Netflix movie Sandy Wexler, as his love interest.
The Oscar winner will play a aspiring singer who becomes the love interest of her new manager Sandy Wexler, played by Sandler.
The film depicts Sandler as a single minded character who is devoted to his job, but that is later put to the test after developing feelings for Hudson’s character.
The film is part of Sandler’s four-film deal with Netflix, and is set for a 2017 release. Sandler previously released two films under the deal including The Ridiculous 6 and The Do-Over.
