JDF Soldier Caught Trying To Smuggle $3 Million Worth Of Cocaine To Canada

A Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) solider was busted on Sunday and is now pending cocaine related charges.

The man whose name is being withheld, was apprehended while boarding a flight to Toronto, Canada at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

According to reports, white powdery substance resembling cocaine worth an estimated $3 Million was found in compartments of his suitcase.

The discovery was taken to the Narcotics Divisional Headquarters and processed. He is booked to face his charges on June 21, 2017 in the Corporate Area Criminal Court.
