Jay Z Rejects Offer to Perform at 2018 Super Bowl

Rap icon Jay Z reportedly said no to performing at the 2018 Super Bowl halftime show. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to The Sun sources, “Lots of people have been saying Jay will perform with Justin Timberlake, but it is simply not the case. ‘He has enough songs to create an incredible performance but he really has no plans to do the half-time show.”

The reports comes days after Jay Z dedicated “The Story of OJ” to Colin Kaepernick, amid the long-standing controversy surrounding his unemployment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While it remains unclear if the claims are true. If so, Jay-Z’s refusal to do the halftime show leaves one to believe he is taking a stand against the NFL’s mismanagement of Kaepernick.
