Jay Z makes $40 million offer to buy Prince’s unreleased music

Jay Z has reportedly offered $40 million to purchase the rights to Prince’s unreleased music catalog that was discovered at his Paisley Park home, according to TMZ.

According to reports, the Tidal CEO made a $40 million offer to Prince’s sister for the rights to the never-before-heard music which was recently discovered at his recording studio in Paisley Park.

Prince’s only full sibling, Tyka, was reportedly jetted in to discuss a prospective business deal with the Hip Hop Mogul, however any deal may be complicated by the fact that she doesn’t have full say on his estate.
