Bounty Killer, Shenseea, Skip Marley will be adding some Jamaican spark to the BET Hip Hop Awards 2020.
The network rolled out the lineup on Monday night via social media and first announced that Shenseea would be bringing the vibes to viewers, “stand up, Shenseea is bringing the vibes to the #HipHopAwards!,” they wrote.
In a follow-up post, BET shared a video drop of veteran Dancehall entertainer Bounty Killer, “Yuh no seh Jamaica ah run tings! 🇯🇲 Thanks to Dancehall/Soundclash culture, Hip Hop gained its competitive roots! Tune in to see @grunggaadzilla mash up di set.”
“We can’t wait to see @SkipMarley at #HipHopAwards!,” they wrote under a photo of Skip Marley.
The 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards is a recognition ceremony that will be held on Tonight (October 27) as the 15th instalment of the BET Hip Hop Awards. The nominations were announced on September 29, 2020.
DaBaby lead the number of nominations with twelve, with Roddy Ricch earning eleven, and both Megan Thee Stallion and Drake receiving eight each.
