Jahmiel

For many artists there comes a moment in their career where they embrace their versatility and willingness to showcase to the world how diverse they truly are. Refraining from being boxed in, refraining from delivering one type of music or one sound, Jahmiel has elevated to another level in his career.

Jahmiel, who was discovered by many in 2015, with his breakthrough single ‘Gain the World’, has always been able to connect with his fans through his delivery of his motivational – thought provoking messages. Today he decide to take it a step further and share a visual, which slows things down just a bit.

While touring extensively for 2019, Jahmiel released his debut album, produced by Chimney Records & DJ Frass, titled Great Man. The album debut at #3 on the Reggae iTunes chart and #6 on Reggae Billboard charts resulting in Jahmiel receiving a new found musical respect. While on tour Jahmiel received an extensive amount of request to perform selections from the album. Due to the response, Jahmiel decided to perform a short acoustic set and put it out for his fans.

“The fans seem to all have special favorites from the album, I selected these three songs; ‘Burning Down’, ‘Thoughts & Dreams’ and ‘Should I’ to showcase some of my musical creativity and my view on life and how I process things musically. I must say this video shows a calmer Jahmiel, an acoustic vibe, which is different from my high energy style performance many are use to seeing during my shows. Slow it down a bit, you know what I mean” says Jahmiel.

The video, shot by Bussweh film, at the historical Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica, is currently on Jahmiel Vevo garnering great feedback and definitely cementing Jahmiel’s music ability in Reggae & Dancehall.
