Jah Cure and Mya collaborates on a hot new track “Only You”

Mya has never denied her love for reggae/dancehall music, this isn’t thw R&B singer’s first time collaborating with a reggae artiste. Back in 2000 she collaborated with dancehall veteran Beenie Man on his classic hit “Girls Dem Sugar” which was a single from his “Art and Life album” that went on to win a Grammy Award and last year she teamed up with Kevin Lyttle for “Bum Bum”

Justus Arison, one of the producers of the track “Only You” said the process took a few months since they took time to build the rhythm, he also stated the Jah Cure’s verses were recorded in Jamaica while Mya recorded her verses in Los Angeles. Arison also credited other producers including ‘Anju Blaxxx’ , Jackspade Music and Tristan Boston who helped with the production of the single.

“Only You” is set for release later this month in combination with the music video.
