Jah Cure Clean Up The Streets Of Nairobi, Kenya With Governor Mike Sonko

Jah Cure teamed up with the Governor of Nairobi, Kenya, Mike Sonko on Saturday to clean up the streets.

The Reggae superstar is currently in the East African country for his Royal Soldier tour and is already making his mark. Jah Cure and Governor Mike Sonko along with over 500 soldiers and police officers cleaned up several areas across Nairobi and streamed it live on Facebook and Instagram.

Jah Cure’s participation in the Nairobi City monthly cleanup exercise comes hours ahead of his highly anticipated performance at the Umoja Splash Festival at the Uhuru Gardens in Kenya’s capital city tonight.

“Governor of Nairobi @mike.sonko we have mission to complete today to clean up Nairobi..500 soldiers..200 police and the entire Nairobi will be stepping through the streets of the hood on a cleaning up campaign… #letsdothiscollective #cleanupnairobi#cleanupafrica #environmentalday,” the “Unconditional Love” singer wrote on IG.

Jah Cure kicked off his Royal Soldier tour on June 1. The Grammy-nominated Reggae artiste will travel to ten cities across the world including; Bahamas; Copenhagen, Denmark; Gothenburg, Sweden; Oslo, Norway, and Stockholm, Sweden.
