Jada Kingdom returned to social media on Friday to share her reason for not attending Dovey Magnum’s birthday bash.
Dovey Magnum shared last week during an interview with Onstage Tv’s Winford Williams that Jada Kingdom and Ishawna removed themselves from the lineup just weeks before the event.
The all-star female lineup featured Tanya Stephens, Dovey Magnum, Tifa, Ishawna, Jada Kingdom, RRE, Starface and Neeqah, however the “Equal Rights” hitmaker and “Love Situations” singer failed to take the stage or even help with the promotions.
Speaking via her Instagram live, Jada Kingdom said it was no disrespect to Dovey Magnum however she removed herself from the lineup to ‘project her energy.’ According to the Dancehall singer, she was unaware that other female entertainers were booked for the event and they aren’t on good terms.
“She never tell me seh is an event weh me and so much people aguh deh pan,” Kingdom said, “I’ve never met Dovey Magnum in person, i don’t know the type of person she is… mi nuh know how she think or what. Inna my head mi a seh, “mi feel like deh girl yah a put mi pan deh show yah wid people weh mi don’t cool wid fi set mi up!.””
