J. Cole shows support for under fire Colin Kaepernick

Rapper J. Cole displayed his support for under fire San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick recently by wearing his #7 jersey at a recent performance.

The San Francisco football star was bashed after he decided not to participate in the American National Anthem during multiple pre-season games. The NFL player would later indicate that his lack of participation was a symbol of protest against injustice and the killings of African Americans by police.

The move sparked a national debate, with many calling for the football star to be sacked, while others declared their support.

The issue became such a heated topic that even President Barack Obama offered his input on the controversy, saying that the player is “exercising his constitutional right.”

J. Cole was one of the many Hip Hop stars to throw their support behind the player by donning his jersey during a performance on Saturday.
