Ishawna refusing to rekindle the romance with her ex-lover.

The Dancehall singjay posted a meme on her Instagram account on Monday which asked the question, “Take ya ex back or be a slave?.”

“Girl rather pick Cotton til’ shi weak?? #IshyOfTheMaroons,” The “Equal Rights” singer responded in the caption.

While Ishawna failed the mention which ex she was referring to, Foota Hype’s name instantly began to make rounds among Dancehall commenters.

“Ishawna for di win O??especially wid a ex like yours. Mi always a wonder a weh a goodas like yuh did si pan him. God Know?,” one fan wrote. “Boii unu a do Foota Hype bad today eno, first Romeich done him fi free now this yah post yah must kill him inna the night yah.”

Ishawna ended things with the Controversial Dancehall selector/producer back in 2014 after dating for over nine years citing domestic abuse.

Since their messy split Foota Hype has taken several jabs at Ishawna via social media and during interviews. However it seems like they have put their differences aside as he sent her Mother’s Day wishes, the first since their breakup, view here.
