I-Octane Gets Banned From Radio

I-Octane has been banned from the local airwaves in Jamaica.

According to the international recording artiste, the RJR Communications group issued an advisory to their disc jocks last week saying they should not play any of his music on air.

The means Dancehall, Reggae fans won’t be hearing I-Octane songs on RJR 94FM, Power 106FM, FAME 95FM, HITZ 92FM or Music 99FM.

In a video posted Saturday on social media, a shocked ‘Hot Ras’ shared the devastating news to his fans while asking the RJR Communications group to share why their general manager of radio services, Dr Dennis Howard made the call.

Beenie Man Issues Apology Following Controversial Comments

I-Octane also called on the Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Gender, Culture, Entertainment and Sport, to step in and address the issue.

“First It was Beenie Man, now it’s me,” he captioned the video.
