Dancehall artiste HoodCelebrity recently stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss her new EP “Inna Real Life,” as well shedding light on her fallout with former friend Cardi B.
The “Walking Trophy” star recently stopped by the studios of New York’s Power 105 to share details of her upcoming project with host Charlamagne Tha God, Dj Envy and Angela Yee as well as finally opening up on the topic of her fallout with Cardi B.
For months fans had been speculating about what may have caused the abrupt split between the two, who were once regarded as “best friends.”
According to the deejay, the fallout occurred after she signed a deal with her current record label, which was organized by a long time friend and former manager of Cardi B.
She claims the affiliation seems to have caused some bad blood with the rapper as she went on to unfollow her on social media, and completely cutting her off in the following weeks.

HoodCelebrity went on to detail how she was especially hurt by the fact she was never congratulated by her former best friend, despite her supporting her throughout her rise to fame throughout the years.
The Jamaican-born star went on to emphasize how much she believes in loyalty, adding that she could never have turned her back on her manager as they did a lot for her during her formulative early years.
HoodCelebrity released the “Inna Real Life” EP on August 31, which featured 5 tracks including a remix of her breakout single “Walking Trophy,” with R&B superstar Trey Songz and rapper Fabolous.
