Here’s Why Squash & Chronic Law Didn’t Perform At Beenie Man’s Summer Sizzle

Recording artiste Chronic Law has sought to address the reason why he along with Squash and Daddy 1 snubbed Beenie Man’s event.

Beenie Man had been advertising that the fast-rising Dancehall deejays were booked for this year’s staging of Summer Sizzle over the last four months. In Fact, the Doc stopped by Onstage TV earlier this month and said the 6ix would be performing live at 6a.m.

Unfortunately over the weekend Squash, Chronic Law and Daddy 1 failed to take the stage, upsetting fans inside the Woodleigh Sports Complex in Clarendon.

In a message posted on social media Monday, Chronic Law made it clear that he wasn’t booked for the event. “When yuh book a artiste fi a show, di artiste suppose to get a deposit!!! Me and some man a devn fren and di msg weh me get ago seh, from the show gwaan good mi will get a thing. Work mi a work mi naa look good name,” the “One Family” deejay said. “Chronic Law neva book fi Summa Sizzle, cyaa trick di 6ixx.”
