Here’s the latest update on Rygin King’s medical condition

Rygin King is still being hospitalized at an undisclosed medical facility in Jamaica.

The Dancehall entertainer, real name Matthew Smith, was shot and injured in Westmoreland on Sunday. A woman, 28-year-old, Sashalee Blackwood was shot and killed in the same incident, while another recording artiste, Goon, was shot in his foot.

On Friday, it was revealed that the Tuff deejay was transferred to a third hospital due to security concerns and to and facilitate his continued recovery.

Loop News asked a source close to the deejay about his current median condition and rumours that he would have to do a few more surgeries in the future, to which they responded, “The artiste is not out of the woods yet, he still needs prayers but the doctors are very professional, and they are doing all they can do to ensure that he makes a full and speedy recovery.”
