Gunman Target Athletes At Usain Bolt Track

Athletes at the Usain Bolt track at the University of the West Indies in Mona, St Andrew were targeted by gunmen on Tuesday evening.

Armed robbers allegedly jumped the wall of the facility and attacked Racers Track Club members, including British sprinter Zharnel Hughes.

According to reports, a licensed firearm holder saw what was happening and advanced to the men. The criminals then fired shots in the air and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.
