A 2-year-old boy is now dead, and two men injured following a vicious gun attack along Luke Lane in downtown Kingston on Tuesday.
According to police reports, 2-year-old Demario Whyte was shot and killed by unknown assailants while with his father at a shop in the community.
Cops say the child’s father and another man were also shot and injured during the incident, they were rushed to hospital and remain in stable condition.
Police theorize that the senseless killing may be due to a recent flare up of gang activity in the area.
