Gully Bop’s Ex-fiancé A’Mari has been arrested and charged for breaching the Disaster Risk Management Act.

The social media personality-turned-recording artiste, real name Veneice Fung-Chung, was slapped with charges on Thursday in St James after she was found in breach of a self quarantine order.

A’mari, also known as DJ Mona Lisa arrested was after authorities spotted her at several places following her recent arrival to Jamaica from the United States.

Gully Bop’s former lover was also charged for using indecent language after she used expletives while speaking to law enforcement officers during an interview. A’mari is scheduled to appear before the St James Parish Court on Wednesday, August 12.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic all travelers arriving to Jamaica will undergo health screening and if determined to be high-risk, will be required to do a COVID-19 test at a local health centre.

Whether they are high- or low-risk, are given a 14-day quarantine order to stay at their hotel/resort or home and are required to contact the health authority immediately, if they develop a fever or any respiratory symptoms during the 14-day period.
