Gully Bop

Gully Bop has a new tune for his fans as he sought to address A’Mari.

The social media sensation-turned-recording artiste previewed a brand new track titled “How Neko Neat Suh” on Saturday.

“Every gal wan Neko, every gal ah ask how Neko neat suh,” Gully Bop deejays over the old time beat. The track is a contraction to his former love A’Mari, also know as DJ Mona Lisa’s new single “Neko” in which she claims the “Wuk Affa Mi” deejay “mash up her life.”

Speaking with the Jamaica Star last week, A’Mari said she wrote the song back in 2016 after she broke up with Gully Bop.

“Things were so horrific between us that I didn’t want to use his name because just the mention of his name would start an argument online. There were no words to describe my pain than ‘Yuh mash up mi life’. When I saw what I became, including being homeless and living in a shelter, those were just the words that came into my mind,” she said.

“Persons became frustrated with me calling Gully Bop name all the time and was encouraging me to move on with my life so I used the name ‘Neko’. I, however, needed time to heal and the song was just my way to cry out for Gully Bop without persons knowing who I was speaking about,” A’Mari added.
