Best Reggae Album Nominees Announced For 60th Grammy

The nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards have been announced with Jamaicans focusing on who made the ‘Best Reggae Album’ cut.

Making this year’s list includes Reggae superstar Chronixx with his ‘Chronology’ album, two-time Grammy winner Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley also secured his nomination with ‘Stony Hill’, while Morgan Heritage rounds off the list of familiar names with ‘Avrakedabra’.

Meanwhile, ‘Wash House Ting’ gave Hawaiian reggae artist J Boog his second nomination, and cross-cultural pop/rock band Common Kings also got the grammy nod for their ‘Lost In Paradise’ project.
