Govana Drops Joker Inspired ‘Strike Force’ Video

Dancehall artiste Govana rolls out a new Joker-inspired music video titled “Strike Force.”

Joker is a 2019 American psychological thriller film directed and produced by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver. The film, based on DC Comics characters, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker and provides a possible origin story for the character.

Strike Force is produced by Di Genius, while the visuals were directed and edited by RD Studios JA. In replicated scenes from the Joker, Dancehall fans are taken into a ghastly plot of torture and bloodshed, as the 4th Genna deejay stamps his merits as a certified gangster in lyrics.

“Shoot dem and laugh like Joker / high-grade smoker but shoot boy sober nine mini cobra / bad with yuh 40 with the 90 me colder / have too much rifle fi go frighten fi soldier,” Govana deejays in the chorus.
