Forbes magazine released its list of the highest paid hip hop artistes of 2016.

Diddy topped the list earning $62 million, most of which came from his Ciroc endorsement deal. The rapper will also pull in major earnings from his Bad Boy Reunion tour.

Hip hop legend, Jay Z placed second with $53.5 million which he earned from his many business ventures such as Tidal Music, Roc Nation, D’Ussé cognac and Armand de Brignac champagne.

Dr. Dre holds 3rd place with $41 million, he amassed much success with the N.W.A biopic “Straight Outta Compton” which did extremely well at the Box Office and the record producer is still enjoying his $3 billion buy out from Apple for his popular Beats by Dre headphones.

Nicki Minaj was the only female on the list yet again, she earned $20.5 million with concert tours and endorsements contributing to majority of her earnings.
