Foota Hype

Foota Hype is asking Dancehall fans to keep him in their prayers.

The veteran selector/producer’s immigration case has been dismissed on Thursday, December 19 when he appeared before an immigration judge in Miami, Florida. Unfortunately, he still remains in custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Foota Hype, whose real name is Oneil Thomas, was detained on Saturday, December 14, on arriving at Port Everglades Seaport aboard the Independence of the Seas, from Falmouth, Jamaica.

The outspoken Dancehall personality had been aboard the Jamrock Reggae Cruise which had traveled to Jamaica from Florida and back to the US.

Foota Hype was held by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for further review of his travel documents and admissibility status. He has been in custody at the Krome Service Processing Center ever since.
