Foota Hype is giving us some tea on how Daddy1 was apparently “Box Down” by Beenie Man’s Entourage.
The controversial Dancehall selector, producer recently went on his Instagram story to reveal the details of what transpired between the two artiste after the crossed paths at Big Yard Studio. Since last year’s Summa Sizzle show, Daddy1 and the 6ixx camp disappointed Beenie Man when they snubbed his event.
At the time, artiste manager Junior ‘Heavy D’ Fraser, claimed that they were absent from the show due to unprofessional negotiations.
In an interview Bennie Man did in May, it seemed as if he was taking shots at Daddy1, as he said his music was difficult to understand because of the similarities to rap music, “No disrespect. If you ah do Dancehall, you do Dancehall. If you a rapper, you a rapper.”
Speaking via his Instagram Live, Foota Hype disclosed that, “dem a say Daddy1 start it. Daddy1 dem a say a Beenie start it. Cz dem a say from the show and dem never go the show, Beenie nuh see none a dem from that, him nuh see Squash, him nuh see Chronic Law, him nuh see Daddy1, so the first him a buck up one a dem now.” he said.
“Based pon the first allegation, dem say Daddy1 ah pree Beenie from when the six team never go up in de show, and Beenie make ah bag ah chat so when him see Beenie he tuff up him face, and him pass Beenie and bounce Beenie,” Foota continued.
The Dancehall selector said the first mini confrontation, Beenie simply asked Daddy1 why he ‘bounced’ him and Daddy1 passed by once again doing the same thing. “Him and Beenie catch up in ah argument now and dem get in ah loud argument,” he stated. After this, Beenie Man’s entourage had restrain Daddy1 to attempt to diffuse the situation he added.
The situation got even more intense when, “a member of Beenie entourage now mussi hold on pon Daddy1 and say yow, ‘lowe dat dawg, zeen’, so Daddy 1 nuh know him, cz you know you’re in an argument, and a man hold on pon yuh, so Daddy1 flash him saying– so wam to yuh b****man don’t touch me.”
The alleged situation then escalated when the two entourages continued to clash which lead to the reveal of at least one firearm, Foota said in his live video.
However, Daddy1’s team is apparently telling a completely different story, placing the blame on Beenie Man for starting the confrontation. They say that the Doc was the one who bounced the “Custome” deejay to get his attention because of what happened at the show last year.
As stated by Foota Hypem the confrontation became physical after Daddy1 told Beenie Man to “go suck yuh m@#da” which triggered the “Girls Dem Sugar” deejay as his mother was recently released from the hospital after surviving a stroke.
It would seem that the Jamaican insult got a member of Beenie Man’s camp angry and caused him to slap the entertainer, Foota Hype states.
